Mc Donalds Delivery Anyone?

It's still early and I can't go back to sleep... and I want to eat! I'm craving for McDonalds chicken and my nephew wants some french fries, so I decided to call McDonalds delivery. It is actually my first time to do this and to my surprise the lady who answered my call just got into my nerves. The number that I called up was 228-MCDO (228-6236). As you can see, it's a local number, but I was surprised to learn while conversing with this super taray lady who was talking as if somebody was chasing her, that she was in Manila. What????!!!!

She was asking me for the location of the house and as I was giving her the details I asked if I was calling McDonalds Bajada, and she told me no it's a centralized center for delivery. So I again asked if where in Davao are they located and to my surprise she told me she was from Manila. WTF! How the hell will I be able to describe to her the location of our house if she is not from Davao? Duh! hello??? Did the McDonalds management ever think of that? What is the purpose of this centralized system for delivery when the person who answers your call is in a hurry to end the call and when the local branch will still need to call me to verify where the exact location of my address is? So silly!

Anyway, after 10 mins I got a call from McDonalds bajada and the crew asked me if he was goin to make a turn at the carwash. See! that's what I mean by the difference of having somebody from Davao to talk to and know the landmarks. By the way, the price is kinda high considering each order has a delivery charge. And guess what? My order arrived after 50 mins!!!! Arghhh! this will be the first and last!

yeah i know how you feel about the centralized ordering system thingie. pldt's also like that. last time i called up to ask for the number of NCCC and the contact agent gave me the numbers of a law office, a textile store and an accounting firm. like, wtf? here in davao everybody knows what and where nccc is, but you have to practically direct them to google maps to get an answer. (btw the agent failed to find the nccc i was looking for.)

some huge companies are stupid like that, no?
