PBB Teen Clash 3rd Forced Evictee -Shey

I constantly watch PBB. From the celebrity, teens and adults. Just about three weeks since it first aired, the PBB teen edition this year is breaking records after big brother announced the third forced evictee of this edition. Shey was given a forced eviction after comitting a very serious offense of "nomination conspiracy".

The one thing I noticed with this batch of teens who entered the PBB house was they show a lot of back-biting. Not really a good example for the teens who watch them on TV. I noticed they disliked Tricia who for them acts too OA. In my own opinion, they agreed to enter the PBB house so they should learn to deal with everyone inside the house. It is but normal that they will be encountering different personalities and they should learn to adjust with each other's attitude instead of conniving with fellow housemates and talking behind the back of their fellow housemate.

When big brother announced the forced eviction last night, he certainly sounded so disappointed with the way the teens have been behaving and even blurted "eto naba ang kabataang Pinoy ngayon?". Truly disappointing to see how these teens are behaving inside the house. Big brother did the right thing of punishing the teens with one forced eviction and 4 automatic nominations to teach them a lesson.

I am not pro Shey or pro Tricia. I know the fans of the two girls are now at war. One side telling it is all Tricia's fault while the other saying it is Shey's fault. The only thing that teeners should learn is that they have to be responsible for their own actions.

Smart Bro Connection Problems

I am making this post as a result of my disappointment with smart bro for the connection problems that I have been having since December. The problem progressed and it really hit me bad last Sunday (Feb 14).

A week ago, my connection would go off for 30 mins and recover. Lately however, it goes off for hours! It usually happens at night. What amused me is that I am not the only person having the same problem with smart bro.

I posted a shoutout at facebook and several people reacted. I am doing a screenshot and of my FB post at the end of this blog post.


May this serve as a warning for those who are planning to get a smart bro connection.

Don't you just hate it when people say they can't do this or that even if you know they can? Well I certainly believe that if the person is willing he or she will find a way to do things, but if the person does not have the will then he or she will find all the excuses in the world.

I'm sure all of us have in one way or another experienced being invited to a party which we would so love to attend because we know it will be a lot of fun and all our friends are there. However, some things seem to come up which would attempt to prevent us from attending that party. Nevertheless, we will look for all possible ways to attend it, even if we come in late. In the same way when we get invited to a party which we do not feel going to. Even if we have nothing to do, we come up with excuses (a guarded lie) to give us a valid reason not to go. Things Happen For a Reason

THOUGHT TO PONDER: Everything in our lives happen for a reason and some things fall apart so better things can come together. Nevertheless, in the end what is meant to be will always find a way.

Truly all of us have in one way or another questioned ourselves or perhaps even the Lord our God why certain things in our lives have to happen. Whether it is a family problem, health issue, relationship issues, failures at school or at work that we hate to see happening to us.

Different people face these circumstances in various ways. Some may take it positively while others will take it negatively. In the end, you will realize that these things took place because..... there are valid reasons.. and you will learn to appreciate why you had to go through those tough times once in your life. In the Mood for a Blog Update

It has been quite a while since I posted something here. My busy schedule has been keeping me from spending time in updating this blog. I am just glad that google has been nice to me and my page rank has maintained to be on PR 2.

I have been out most of the day. Running errands, getting a pedicure and a much needed haircut. Now I'm alone in my room and I have all the time in the world to update my blog while waiting for Pinoy Big Brother's live eviction later tonight.

While contemplating on what to write and ways to keep my blog as updated as possible (which should mean at least having one post or more in a week). Tough hey? With my very busy schedule, well it is tough. So something came up.... I will start posting about words of wisdom - serious or humorous, and give my own personal opinion on each post. Farmtown and Farmville: Two of the Most Popular Games Played in Facebook

Before I got hooked on Facebook, there was Friendster. I never expected Facebook to offer surprising features for their users. My first impression was “ah just another social networking site”. Several months after registering an account, I realized I was wrong. Facebook developed several features like the applications, picture tagging, video sharing, fan page, groups, etc. which made it a very interesting social networking site.

Slowly, I drifted away from my Friendster account. I barely access my Friendster account now and would only open it if I get notified thru my email that I have a message waiting to be read.

So yeah I admit I got hooked to Facebook now. One of the major reasons is the fun games that I can play on Facebook. As far as I can recall, among the very first games that I played on facebook was Word Challenge. Then there was also Tower Bloxx, and Bowling Buddies. I am not really into playing all those games. I do it to relax and exercise my brain.

One thing I noticed though is that there are quite a number of games on Facebook in which the theme is about farming. So I am just curious, why are there millions of people all over the world who are so hooked to these farming games? Could it be because most of us cannot own a real farm? Farmtown and Farmville are amongst the most popular of them and I can attest to that since my friends, young and old alike, play these games.

Why are these games addicting when in fact the players get nothing like a reward from it. Well I guess the real reward would come when your friends see how you are able to beautifully decorate your farm right? I have not played Farmtown and Farmville yet (but I play barn buddy – another farming game), but my nephew does and it is only one of the many games that he plays on Facebook. Yeah he is turning 7 this November and he has his own FB account. My sister created an account for him since he used to access it using the account of his father and he could not play as much as he wants as he cannot publish his accomplishments in the games he play (the boss of his father might think he is not doing his work).

Mothers Day - What a Day!

This day is special for all mothers and I had nothing so special planned but to have a day out with the whole family. I was teasing my brother that he will treat us for lunch so my mother will not need to cook lunch and he willingly obliged.

TIME: 10am


My brother gave us the money to purchase lechon manok and ice cream. I told my mother if we can go to NCCC uyanguren first to see if they are selling a certain textile that I am looking for. I needed something to cover the dashboard of my car because the heat of the sun would bounce directly to my face every time I would drive the car on a hot day. I ended up buying 2 dew foam pillows coz they did not have what I was looking for. As I was paying the cashier, a guard approached the cashier and they were talking about a fire nearby. I asked them where the fire was. They said it was in the Lizada entrance. What???!! My car is parked there. My mother and I rushed down and out of the store for fear that it might be a big fire. Fortunately it was just a minor fire.

So we headed to Bo. Obrero to buy lechon manok from Nochies before we headed for Victoria Plaza to buy ice cream.

TIME: 11am

We arrived at Victoria Plaza. I told my mother that we try to inquire about the textile at the textile department of the Mall first before we proceed to the grocery to buy the ice cream. Still no textile for my dashboard, but we have the ice cream.

TIME: 12nn

We are at the carpark. I turned on my engine, pressed the hazard button and started backing. As I was changing to first gear to move forward, I heard a bump. What the!!!! A car bumped me! I did not see a car backing while I was backing. Where did he come from??? My mother immediately jumped off the car and the driver of the honda CRV that bumped us did not even bother to get down his car. My mother knocked hard on his window to let him get off the car. Mr. Rodolfo D. Caresma got off and he started acting arrogantly. He started blurting out things that he was Vice president of BPI (so?!). That he knew people from TMC. Darn! he even mention.. "wala na kase si Popo" (referring to Mr. Celso "Popo" Gempesaw who died of a heart attack last week). In my mind I was thinking what the hell does a dead man have to do with this?! Then he started calling people on his cellphone.

He even called the mall owner. What??? Is the mall owner responsible for what he did? The security guards came and they got my drivers license and asked for his license. It took him quite some time to show his license. As the guard was holding his license and copying his details, I took at peek at his license and it turned out to be an expired drivers license!!!! It expired last February 2009. He is driving with an expired license!!! After more than 30 minutes, the police (PO2 Lantajo) from the traffic department came and got our certificate of registration and drivers license. Then we were instructed to proceed to the Sta. Ana Police station.

When I arrived at the police station with my brother, I informed PO2 Lantajo that Mr. Rodolfo D. Caresma was driving with an expired license. I hope he takes note of that in his report. The damage was not really that big (my car got a dent on the drivers side while his car had no trace of damage at all coz it was his spare tire hard casing that bumped into my car) and I also have my own car Insurance. It's just that this guy really got into my nerves!! Perhaps he was thinking he can scare me off with his connections??? Well he is absolutely wrong! We should follow proper procedures and he is not going to get away with it.

What irritated me more was he kept bragging about his position with Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). Such a stupid thing to do! He happens to be talking to one of their bank clients and I'm so pissed off I'm thinking of closing my bank account from their bank. Yeah he has a very high position with BPI and he should have known better how to act like a respectable professional!

TIME: 2:30PM


We fetched my sister's family from their house and proceeded to SM. We strolled around, bought a few stuffs and ate snacks at pizza hut. After eating our snacks, went up to worlds of fun. My nephew was so excited coz we agreed that everybody will ride the bump car, except for my father who was playing bingo at the bingo hall. It was the first time of my sister, mother and bro in law to ride a bump car. hehehe.. They were asking me several questions - how does it move forward? do we step on something to make it run? hahaha! Of the 9 bumpcars.. only 4 were functioning. Good enough for the 4 rides that we took.


TIME: 6:30PM

We went down to Antonio's Grill to have dinner. Unfortunately, the place is full. So we decided to just go for Bigby's. We ordered baby back ribs and fishermans catch. Our orders came and we were quite surprised with the appearance of the baby back ribs.. Hmmm it looked fatty.. errr... As we sliced it, it was kinda hard.. and there was more fat inside.. it did not taste that good though. This was our first time to eat at Bigby's SM, but we have already tried eating several times at Bigby's torres. We even joked maybe it was a grandmother backribs that they used since we are celebrating mothers day today. While we paid our bill, we informed the owner (she was not in uniform but she helped in serving and giving out the bill coz the place was so busy) about the backribs and she just said "ah ok we will just tell them" tell who? the commissary? hmmm.. their baby backribs is definitely not at par with the baby back ribs of Rancheros grill.

Well this day is one unforgettable day for the bad and good things that happened. A piece of advice to all drivers out there. Do not be fooled by these people who would want to scare you off when you get into a vehicular accident like what happened to me. Call the proper authorities and have it documented properly. As I was talking to PO2 Lantajo earlier, he mentioned there have been several incidents of car owners not being able to claim the damages from the person responsible for the damage since they did not course it through the TMG. Also, do not just accept any calling cards or whatsoever from these people while they tell you to just contact them. Mr. Rodolfo D.
