I celebrated my 40th birthday yesterday. To those who are wondering why I turned 40 instead of 39, well it's a Chinese tradition where you do not celebrate a birthday that ends with a 9 as it is considered unlucky. They say life begins at 40. I can say it really does!
I feel so grateful for all the blessings that I have been receiving. The love of family and friends and a stable career that allows me to live a comfortable life. Did I say I got 3 cakes to celebrate my birthday?
